How it works

  1. Your microphone audio is captured and decoded entirely in-browser using the Web Audio API.
  2. To reverse it, we flip the raw audio samples end-to-start — the same trick behind those famous backmasked recordings.
  3. Effects like echo, reverb, robot, and distortion are built live with audio nodes (delays, filters, ring modulation, wave-shaping) and mixed in on top.
  4. Nothing ever leaves your device — there's no upload, no server processing, no account.
